Hello Fashionistas!! 🙂
Back to routine after a couple of days off due to Easter Holidays. So how did you spend your holidays? Did you manage to get the rest you needed and recharged your batteries? And have you eaten a lot? Because, here in Cyprus one thing we are known for as a culture is for the too much food!
So, after all those family gatherings and coffee dates, it is time to head back to work and wait till summer holidays. And for now, all we can do is dress up and embrace Spring before it vanishes and Summer knocks the door.
I am so happy that this season I get to enjoy florals, which are every Spring Summer Season in and nowadays they are popular during Winter too, this season however they are everywhere. I just love that there are so many different options of floral prints in the market that can satisfy anyones’ taste. For me, floral prints are one of my favourites, however I am a bit picky when choosing which ones to wear. You have already seen me holding my Cavalli Class print backpack in Post #64: Blouse Game ON!! and wearing an off-the-shoulder print blouse in the same post, and you have also seen me wearing a few pieces on my Instagram account.
From there you can actually realise that I either like floral prints that are colour blocking, i.e 2 or 3 colours maximum, or floral prints that are interrupted by other contrasting patterns, i.e. florals and stripes or florals and animal print (I said I was quite picky 😉 ).
Apart from florals, I also love bomber jackets so when I find bomber jackets in floral prints, then I’m in Heaven! This season I found two; today I will introduce you to one of them. You already know how much I love Silvian Heach as a brand right? I mean I made it pretty obvious (shy face).
I created a Spring outfit with a pair of ripped flared jeans (read all about flared jeans on #22: Flared Jeans) with a loose V-neck white cotton top that combines cotton with chiffon and dresses up the look. For coverage I wore my new favourite item; a Silvian Heach floral bomber jacket in white and red-fuchsia, with dusty pink leather details on the neck. I just love it because it feels so soft on the skin and transformed the outfit from a basic and simple look to a stunning eye-catching one. I mean, who could not stare at this bomber?
I just love the fact that it is like satin, therefore you can dress it up or down easily;
- wear it with skinny 7/8 jeans for casual mornings.
- with a pair of flared jeans for an afternoon coffee.
- with a pair of white trousers (either skinny or flared) for drinks at night.
- with a skirt – skater for fresh and young looks – pleated for the trendier version – maxi for a night out – midi for a more ‘serious’ look.
- with a pair of shorts for those Summer nights.
- with a dress to dress it up and complete the look with a pashmina.
- with a red chino for the more daring ones 😉
My outfit was completed with a Silvian Heach backpack in dusty pink and red-fuchsia flowers embellished on, that matched the bomber, my Miu Miu round sunglasses in grey and gold and my new MAC lipstick SPEED DIAL.
Do you like florals? If yes, tell me all about your favourite floral pieces!
