Hello Fashionistas 🙂
Happy week to all of you. What are your plans for the new week? Let’s start with a positive Monday – the best way to go through the week.
Spring always comes with many pairs of jeans – the best season to wear your jeans. Jeans in many different forms and styles. The new season has also arrived with a varied selection of different blouses and tops so it is actually time to raise your blouse game! A pair of jeans and a beautiful blouse is all you need to create a stylish Spring look.
Today, I chose to wear my Just Cavalli flared jeans (I love wearing flares in Spring) and will be showing to you 3 different ideas of pairing interesting blouses and creating 3 different Spring looks, perfect for many different occasions. For more on flared jeans check my post #22: Flared Jeans.
#1: The Spring knit
I love wearing light knits in Spring and I love it even more when I find knits that are unique and different than the rest. This season I found what I was looking for in a white knitted top by Elisa Cavaletti (Daniella Dalavale). I believe you can guess on your own why. It is all in the details; different patterns, weird buttons, gold details, one shoulder, chiffon, extra fabrics, what else can I say about this top. I’ve matched it with my Cavalli Class backpack in the exclusive, iconic print of the season, which makes the outfit romantic and cool with a dose of streetstyle. The outfit was completed with my Fendi sunglasses in gold and green from Occhio Optical.
#2: The Baby Blue Edition
This season we are being introduced to two fantastic colours; baby pink (and all sorts of pinks) and baby blue – a colour perfect for Spring. I chose a baby blue blouse by Apart with stripes, squares, different lace patterns and textures with bell sleeves and flared finishings, some of the most popular trends for the new season. I feel that the the flared jeans with the flares of the top, complemented well the look and created another romantic look (one of the best SS17 trends, according to my opinion). I decided to go with a leopard Cavalli Class cross-bag and my So-real Dior sunglasses, which gave an edge to the outfit.
#3: Off-the shoulder look
A trend we saw and loved last Summer, followed us through Autumn and Winter and we will still be wearing this season too. What I love about this trend, is that it has been upgraded, updated and developed and new ideas and philosophies concerning the off-the-shoulder trend will be introduced. I went with a floral print off-the-shoulder top in navy blue and white by Apart. I love its wide bell sleeves that add interest to the whole look. I tucked the blouse in at the front and left the back hanging loose, in order to create a more laid-back look. And since we are in for florals this season, I went all the way and paired two different floral prints together – I held my Cavalli Class floral backpack to make the look more colourful and casual. I would go with a mini cross bag for a night out.
