Hello Fashionistas 🙂
Monday again and officially first Monday of Spring. How is everyone? Are you ready to embrace the new season? Have you already started adding new pieces to your closets? And if yes, what have you bought so far? Let me know 🙂
Today, I decided to make a shift from dark to bright. Since we are officially in Spring and the sun is already shining bright, it was about time to leave my dark outfits in the dark and wear something new and fresh. I have to admit, I love dark colours but it is true that a bright colour can easily change your mood; I wore white and immediately felt the mood change. And even though I like wearing bright colours during Spring and especially Summer, I am definitely not a white person. However, fashion is all about daring to go that extra mile, all about experimentation and that is what I did.
Spring is always a great season to wear your favourite jeans, so I chose a pair of light blue Versace Jeans skinny jeans. I matched it with a plain white t-shirt by Just Cavalli with a logo – one of the most popular trends for this season. For coverage, I wore a long laser-cut coat by Apart, which is currently one of my favourite Spring pieces. The reason is that you can wear it with so many different ways, and you will definitely see my wearing it with various combinations! My outfit was completed with my brand new metallic gold sneakers by Just Cavalli and my leather unique handbag by Elisa Cavaletti, that says ‘Watch me, not the TV’ 😉
A sporty Spring look that can easily be transformed to a going out look by substituting the sneakers with a pair of sandals or platform for a laid-back look. Apart from this, you could also change the way you combine this specific coat to create different looks. For example, you could wear it a simple fitted mini dress underneath, at any colour you like or you could create a total white look with a pair of white cigarette pants and a plain white blouse underneath. Another choice could be to create a bold contrast by wearing total black underneath, creating a colour block.
Peace & Love,
