#53: Welcome 2017!

Hello Fashionistas 🙂

Welcome to 2017! 2016 has already left and we are now in 2017, page no.2 out of 365! So how do you feel? It’s unbelievable how time flies! Have you made your resolutions? I wish to all of you joy, happiness, prosperity; a year filled with peace & love; a year filled with beautiful surprises, laughter and positive energy 🙂

I would like to thank you for your support the past year, it has been a great one and you are one of the main reasons.

So, today I am welcoming 2017 in one of my favourite colours that are trending now; Forest Green.

I matched it with black and camel, however this colour looks nice with other colour combinations too. Some of them are:

  • With navy blue.
  • With bordeaux and plum.
  • With grey.
  • With black & white.
  • With brown.
  • With beige.
  • With white.
  • With both gold and silver (i prefer with gold).

You already know that I have a thing for furry stuff and I believe that this is the reason I love winter so much ❤ I chose a Scripta long waistcoat in animalier print in Forest Green and Black.

I matched it with a Scripta body in velvet (the must have of the season), with sheer sleeves and V. I am wearing a pair of Taifun flared black jersey trousers and completed the outfit with a leather stunning clutch by MC Designs in Forest Green and Camel, and I’m wearing Velvet Teddy Matte lipstick by MAC. I felt that the camel touch of the clutch bag and the brown shade of the lipstick, gave that extra twist to the look and broke the serious and ditonic effect of Black and Forest Green.

I created a simple, yet going out outfit, however, with a plain tshirt, a casual jumper or a leather jacket underneath and a pair of trainers or ankle boots, this look can be transformed from occasion wear to sporty and smart casual.

How would you wear Forest Green?

Peace & Love,

G.
