Hello hello Fashionistas 🙂
How is everyone doing? I am finally back in Cyprus, however it’s once more for a few days as my next trip is very very soon!
Details about my last trip in Milan will also be soon on the blog! 🙂
Today I will talk about two colours that are very popular this season; Grey and Red. Two colours that are gorgeous on their own and in combination with other colours too, but what happens when these two colours are combined?
Taifun has the answer for you as they have designed a group in their Fall/Winter 2016 collection, which is all about Grey and Red and I have to say that the result was stunning! I immediately loved the colour combination and decided to adopt it myself!
We have seen grey lately matched with many different colour options; from total grey, to grey and beige, to black, blue, green, and the palette goes on. This time I decided to try something new and go with a bolder colour.
We have already said that grey is the new black and we know that when in doubt wear red so why not combine the new black with a hint of some firy, bright red? If you’re not the kind of person who wears red in clothes, then an accessory would be the ideal choice to ‘break’ a total grey outfit with a touch of red.
I personally love red as a colour; a colour that relates from its nature automatically with feminity, empowerement, excitement, fire and strength. However, I know that many of you are a bit reluctant in wearing red and would go with just red lips. Well, that would be a great combination of wearing total grey and just simply add a red red lipstick!
I am wearing a Taifun cape-jacket with fringes in Grey animalier print, a kimono in charcoal grey again by Taifun. I matched it with my grey Silvian Heach ripped skinny jeans, while my ankle booties are from Ego of course. I completed my outfit with my mini leather bag from Cavalli Class in bold red colour and voila; Grey met Red and fell in love 😉
How would you match your grey outfits? Comment below and give me your ideas 🙂
P.S. Thank you Taifun for my amazing cape-jacket; I love it!!!
Peace & Love,
G.
