#36: The Queen’s Closet goes to the UK

Hello Fashionistas 🙂

How is everyone? Are you getting ready for your holidays?

Today, I will share with you the details of my last trip, which was in the UK. After 2 months of moving permanently back to Cyprus, I returned to the UK to see my family and to receive my diploma from Manchester Metropolitan University.
Unfortunately due to a pressured program at work, I could only stay for 3 days but I had a great time with my family and England is a country I will always go back too!

DAY 1

Day 1 was well spent at my birth-town; Stafford. We visited one of the most stunning parks I have ever seen, the Victoria Park and walked around the town of Stafford, which is known for its vintage style and the big areas of green where you can sit and enjoy the sun. One of the highlights of the day were the milkshakes we enjoyed 😉 Other than that, our first day was all about relaxing and enjoying some quality moments with family.

DAY 2

Day 2 started off with a trip to Birmingham; we visited the city centre and Bullring (their shopping centre), did some shopping and enjoyed delicious burgers at Handmade.co and I suggest you visit Handmade Burgers when you are in the UK because they are one of the best burger places and they are now in Manchester and in other cities in England too. Have you ever seen the Selfridges building in Bullring shopping centre? It was inspired by a Paco Rabanne dress and it is worth visiting! When we returned back to Stafford in the afternoon, I went to the park I used to play when I was very little and we then headed of to my grandmother’s house to get some rest and prepare our things for the next day.

DAY 3

Day 3 was devoted exclusively on my graduation. The day started at Tony and Guy where we had our blowdries and we then headed off to Manchester. The day passed so quickly, I did not even realise that the ceremony had already started and finished. Nevertheless, this day was so special and I was so happy I finally received my diploma as a Popular Musician. What made it so special however, was the smile on my parent’s faces who were absolutely over the moon!! After the awards ceremony, we enjoyed a nice meal at Jamie Oliver and walked around the city of Manchester where I got emotional as Manchester will always be in my heart! So yes, I am now a songwriter, singer and vocal coach and I’m thrilled!!!

I am wearing; Cavalli Class black and white dress and KG by Kurt Geiger stilettos.

So that was it! My trip to the UK ended with the best memories once again and I am now getting prepared for my next trip. Can you guess? If yes, then comment below 🙂

Peace & Love,

G.
