#35: The ice-cream edition

How is everyone? I just came back from the UK where; I finally graduated and can say that I am a singer, song-writer and vocal coach but all these will be up on the next post where I will update you with all sorts of information regarding my last trip!

We are towards the end of July, the National Ice Cream Month as in 1984, President Ronald Reagan set July as National Ice Cream Month. And since I am an ice-cream lover, I just had to write a post especially about ice-creams.

Coincidently, SH by Silvian Heach launched a white skater dress with mini ice-creams printed all over and without further discussion it is one of my favourite picks for this summer. Easy to wear, playful and fun, a dress that can be worn by a varied age range depending on how you style it, and for many different occasions. And since the theme I chose was ice-creams, I really wanted to get lost in ice-creams for this post (and of course I don’t mean eating too many ice-creams but living the fantasy that I’m surrounded by them! 🙂 ).

I matched the dress with a pair of camel Versace Jeans platforms and a turquoise clutch by Just Cavalli , while in the second to last photo I am wearing the dress with a pair of white and camel Byblos platforms and a Cavalli Class bag in nude and yellow. I have also worn this dress with flat lace-ups for a casual night out so depending on your accessories, you can either dress it up or dress it down.

Notes:

A skater dress can be so easy during hot summer days as sometimes we want to feel free and relaxed, especially when the heat is unbearable.
A pair of camel platforms is one of the top 10 summer pair of shoes that our closets require. They can literally be matched with anything and can save you money.
Clutches are the IT thing this summer. Hold them from day to night, with your tracksuits, your jeans, your maxi dresses, your evening wear and even your swimming costumes! Every single designer has been introducing clutch bags to their collections.
Why be serious all the time? Don’t be afraid to add some dose of fun and playfulness to your outfits; we all need ice-cream in our lives. Don’t just eat them; Wear them instead! 🙂
