#31: The Queen’s Closet goes to San Pedro del Pinatar and Murcia

Well, hello Fashionistas 😊

I have been absent these days, but there were so many things going on here in Cyprus. I was a presenter at a Fashion Show by SHE Boutique and the co-ordinator for an event organised by Cambridge Weight Plan Cyprus to celebrate their 10 years of operation. I was also invited to San Pedro del Pinatar in Spain to view the Cabotine, Zeila and Renata Spring/Summer 17′ collections and I returned just this Monday.

How have you been? I’ve missed you all and I hope that you missed me too!

In this post, I will talk about my experience in San Pedro Del Pinatar and inform you about the upcoming trends with regards to evening wear for next Summer, all the way from Spain 😊

The GN Group Design invited us by providing full coverage of the travelling costs and accommodation at one of the best hotels in San Pedro; Thalasia Hotel & Spa. Cool right? What’s even cooler is that the showrooms were situated in the hotel too, so we had access during any time of the day 😊

Day 1

First day was for relaxing and getting to know San Pedro del Pinatar a bit better. We checked in at the hotel and then wandered around. Later in the day we visited Zenia Boulevard, the newest mall of Alicante, where we had the opportunity for some shopping of course and enjoy some homemade Spanish ice cream.

Day 2

Day 2 started by viewing the new collections. We then had a presentation by Zeila and Renata followed by a fashion show. After the show we placed our orders and got dressed to attend the Cabotine show where I wore a Cabotine dress from their Spring/Summer 17′ collection. When we finished, we headed to the harbour of San Pedro del Pinatar for a walk, where we also ate the best seafood paella I have ever tried.

Day 3

Our last day started at the GN Group Design factories in Murcia where we were lucky to pick some vintage pieces from the stock they had there available for their customers, so I did choose some pieces for myself πŸ™‚ When we finished, we jumped on the bus and headed to Murcia’s town centre along with the rest of the group. There, we had a long walk; we visited a few shops, did some sightseeing, visited the casino and enjoyed a cup of coffee with some traditional Spanish delis. At around 5 we left and headed back to the hotel, had some rest and got ready for the party GN Group Design organised for their customers, where we had so much fun!

That was it basically, so now lets move on to the Spring/Summer 17′ trends.

So this is it for now. Can’t wait to see what else Spring/Summer 17′ collections have prepared for us πŸ™‚ I will be updating you after each business trip of course!

P.S. Thanks to GN Group Design for the hospitality, to Cabotine for the amazing dress, to Thalasia Hotel & Spa for the accomodation and to the lovely people I have met during these days, that made this journey fun, unique and unforgettable!!

Peace & Love,

G.
