#30: 2 Garments, 3 Outfits!

Hello Fashionistas 🙂 I am back in Cyprus for good this time, even though many trips are coming soon! How are you all?

Now, everyone has started slowly purchasing new garments and upgrading their wardrobes, waiting for summer. However, how cool would it be if with simple adjustments we were able to wear our clothes more?

Today, I will be showing to you how simple it is to create 3 stunning outfits by purchasing two garments that are basic and popular while using already existing pieces in your closet; all you need is a midi black plain cotton dress and a chiffon blouse, which is shorter at the front and longer at the back (it can be of whatever colour combination you like). I chose an SH by Silvian Heach plain dress and a Frank Lyman striped blouse in black and white.

First Look:

Here, I am wearing my plain dress with a Miss Money Money short leather jacket in turquoise for an everyday casual look. I completed the look with a pair of Ray-bans, my Cavalli Class signature backpack and a pair of vanilla All Star Converse; simple and stylish.

Second Look:

I left the black dress on, and wore the chiffon Frank Lyman blouse on top of the midi dress, creating an odd but interesting combination. It seems like I am just wearing a skirt, but really it’s the dress. I changed my handbag and held a mini Just Cavalli turquoise bad, matched with white All Star Converse and a pair of Fendi Metropolis sunglasses. I wanted to keep the look casual as I dressed it up by wearing the chiffon top and by holding the mini bag, however you can simply wear a pair of espadrilles to dress it down or a pair of strappy heels to dress it up.

Third Look:

Heading towards a more occasion like look, I wore the chiffon blouse with a pair of G.Sele shiny skinny 7/8 trousers matched with a pair of leather black barely there sandals from Zara. I also held a clutch box in blue electric by Cavalli Class, in order to make the outfit more formal and I also wore a gold bold necklace from Cavalli Class too, to break the striped pattern and dress up the outfit.

Notes:

  • There is no need to invest on too many fashion pieces each season. Instead, you can buy less and combine them with existing pieces in your wardrobe such as an alreasy existing leather jacket or a black skinny pair or trousers that we all have.
  • Clothes have much more than 1 way to wear them and this mainly depends upon ourselves and our imagination to create multiple outfits with one single garment.
  • As you can see from the above looks, accessories do affect greatly our outfits. By changing the handbags, and adding and subtracting accessories, you can easily change the way a garment looks like.

Do you like my looks? Then feel free to comment below, I would love to see your ideas 🙂

Peace & Love,

G.
