Good-morning everyone 🙂

So how have you all been? It’s been a while since my latest post but I’ve been very busy the past 2 weeks with work in Cyprus as there were many new SS16 deliveries at SHE Boutique. And I have to say, that the collections this season are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!

Today I will be talking about transition; transitioning from one season to another can be difficult in regards with choosing what to wear each day. Some days are warmer than others and some are just cold, making us unsure of whether we should wear our brand new summery purchases or whether we should still keep our boots and coats on.

The best way to cope with the unpredictable weather is by investing on some statement capes that can add to our outfits while keeping us warm. At the same time they are so easy to carry and if the weather gets warmer, then we can easily fold them and save them in our handbags. What is more, is that they can be worn on top of dresses, plain camisoles or even coats.

This season suede is one of the hottest trends along with bohemian touches. So I chose a Rene Derhy cape in faux suede with laser cuts and fringes in a bohemian style. I chose the cape in a nude shade because nude is one of the most popular colours for Spring and Summer. What I love with nude shades is that they can be matched with absolutely any colour on earth, therefore by choosing a nude cape or any other piece of garment or accessory, we can easily make many different combinations and enjoy our purchase to its fullest potential 😉

I decided to go into the nudes with this outfit by wearing a long Tuzzi light knitted jacket in a nude shade aswell and a pair of Silvian Heach 7/8 ripped jeans. Since my skin is rather pale, I decided to wear a white plain camisole underneath to brighten up my look.

I completed my outfit with a pair of Just Cavalli sneakers in their iconic SS16 black and white print with shiny gold soles, a nude Cavalli Class shoulder bag and a pair of Raybans Wayfarers in nude, orange and blue mirrored lenses.

Notes:

  • Don’t forget to layer up because weather during spring can become pretty cheeky.
  • A pair of nude shoes, nude handbag and nude cape are must pieces for spring and summer. They can come in handy when combining outfits together.
  • Transitioning periods are the best ones because you can wear and enjoy your clothes without sweating like during summer or wearing coats on top because it might be freezing during winter. Therefore, it is worth investing on some statement pieces that we can enjoy during early spring or autumn.
  • Snickers and trainers are so trendy. They can transform an outfit completely and at the same time offer comfort.

Whay do you think about my post and my outfit?
